OpenWorks was founded in 2000. Our customers include businesses such as Hayt, Hayt & Landau and non-commercial organisations such as St Edmund Hall, Oxford University and Age Concern. Our services include software design, software engineering, systems development, and open source project management.

We believe that many modern organisations can benefit from the use of open source software - regardless of their current IT infrastructure. Open source software fundamentally alters the balance of power between software suppliers (us) and software buyers (you), putting buyers in a stronger position by making it much more difficult for suppliers to "lock in" buyers to expensive, proprietary solutions.
